WHAT IS D6?...
This D6 Family conference is based on the principles of Deuteronomy 6 and aims to unite, envision and equip church and home for transformation.
WHY D6 ASIA?...
The Church and many Christian families across Asia are struggling to pass on the legacy of faith. The Asia Evangelical Alliance (AEA) has a burden for this and is calling all churches and families to take up the challenge to work together and engage in generational discipleship.

WHERE IS D6?
The D6 Family vision is growing in Asia...
AEA supports this vision of the CHURCH+HOME working together to disciple the generations which will in turn strengthen the whole church for its mission. It is our prayer that this pan-Asian effort will fuel the D6 Family momentum and that more will catch the vision.
We strive to complement the work that may already have started in your country - check out the D6 Family events and resources in these following Asian countries.
*The organizers of the above D6 countries are not associated with AEA. We are all licensed to run D6 and are working towards a common D6 vision.

WHAT THEY SAY...
People who have attended D6Family Conferences from around the world ....
I found it to be life-changing and also very informative. We would like to bring it back to church and then apply what we could.
The big take away is the restoration of family, of marriage and relationship, not only with God but with our family members.
I feel that D6 has really equipped me in the children ministry and also equipped me as a parent to my children
I am so privileged to be given the opportunity to attend this D6 Conference. I have learned a lot and had some regrets now that my 2 daughters are now grown-ups. I had so many wishes that we should have done when my children were still in their formative years. Praise the Lord that we can still do intentional parenting as long as they are still living with us. Praise God for the excellent resource person. The workshops were very helpful too.
ALL ARE WELCOME!

KEY NOTE SPEAKERS

Dr. RON HUNTER JR.
Your family legacy matters. Likewise, every parent and grandparent wants to instill value in the next generation. Your church can help. Discover how D6 (Deuteronomy 6) Family Ministry principles and practices can make a difference. We will identify the common problems most churches are trying to solve, then lay a biblical foundation to map the way. And for the last half, we will share easy ways to intentionally make a difference at church and in the home.
Since 2002, Dr. Hunter has served as the Executive Director & CEO of Randall House the publisher of D6 Curriculum, cofounder and Director of the D6 Conference (a conference that meets in numerous countries each year). He regularly speaks internationally and consults for ministry and business organizations. In addition to serving in the military, he earned his MPA from the University of Colorado and his Ph.D. from Dallas Baptist University, where he teaches as an adjunct professor. He has written over 80 articles for various magazines and published five books including Toy Box Leadership, The DNA of D6, Recalibrate: A New Measure for Family Ministry and his newest one, About Me, About You: Generational Legacy Journal. The titles Ron is most proud of are husband, father, and grandfather. He married his college sweetheart, Pamela, and they have two adult married kids: Michael and Lauren and two granddaughters.
Deuteronomy 6 (D6) reveals God’s heartbeat for generational discipleship. What starts at church must carry over into the homes each day of the week. Explore how the people of Israel finally broke the bonds within their culture and how Asian churches can do the same. Discipleship includes reaching and teaching through an intentional partnership between the Church and Home.

THU 9 Jun: PASTORS & LEADERS ONLY WORKSHOPS

TW1 - JIM BURNS
HELPING PARENTS ENGAGE IN SPIRITUAL FORMATION
Even in the midst of having good motives as a ministry leader, sometimes we pursue the wrong efforts. Families have the greatest influence on a child’s life. We must focus on reaching the family if we want discipleship to go beyond Sunday School or youth group. Jim Burns shares with us how to empower parents and the effect it can have on their families and churches.

TW2: BRIAN HAYNES
HIRING D6 MINISTRY STAFF AND RECRUITING D6 VOLUNTEERS
Whether hiring ministry staff or recruiting volunteers, the people we recruit to forward our mission and vision will either propel us to new heights or keep us from being all that God wants us to be as the local church. Making disciples by equipping families is an important move of God in the church today. Hiring through the lens of values allows you to shape new staffers for strategy with the momentum of shared drivers.
Hiring carefully and avoiding common mistakes allows you to recruit people that will champion the cause for the long haul, giving you the ability to taste the fruit of D6 ministry in the next generation. We are only as great as our team of leaders. Staff well!

TW3: PHIL VISCHER
HOW AND WHAT WE TEACH
In this engaging talk, Phil Vischer, creator of What’s In the Bible? and Veggie Tales will share ideas to help kids understand the Bible, faith, and the world. As Christians, we see the world through the lens of the Gospel. TW4a: TODD MEADOWS
FAMILY MINISTRY IN A SMALLER CHURCH

LEAVING A LEGACY OF FAITH: DISCIPLING YOUR FAMILY A DAY AT A TIME
Missionaries Cliff Tam and his humanitarian doctor wife, Wai Jia, share on how faith and faithfulness can be woven together for God's glory. Join this missional couple on their incredible faith journey and discover how you too can leave a legacy of faith as an eternal inheritance.

FW3 & SW3: DENNIS RAINEY
BE THE MAN GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO BE
Dennis Rainey delivers an inspiring message on calling men of faith to step up and show the world what God has called them to be. Mr. Rainey introduces five steps to describe the stages men will go through beginning with boyhood, adolescence, manhood, mentor, and patriarch. Through these five stages, boys will develop a biblical relationship with God to become generational connectors, intercessors, and influencers.

FW4 & SW4: CAROL BARNIER
PARENTS AND PRODIGALS
Carol is a humorist and speaker, frequent radio guest and author, wife and mother, Pastor’s kid, Christian… and former atheist. In this talk, she’ll take you inside deep inside the mind of an atheist, of a prodigal who walked away from faith, church and family for thirteen years. When your prodigal declares there’s no God, or wants nothing to do with your beliefs and values. . . what should you do? What should you not do?
And when their journey down the path of their newest philosophy comes to an end, and they’re ready to consider something else, will they look back home? This talk lets you view prodigalism from the inside out—what factors can lead to this journey, and what factors can impact a return. Don’t miss this unique perspective on a walk away from and back to God.

FW5 & SW5: SEAN MCDOWELL
KIDS, TEENS, AND PORNOGRAPHY
Pornography is a growing issue for adults, teens, and even kids. Sean teaches about the affects of pornography and how it is influencing our culture.

FW6 & SW6: GARY CHAPMAN
THINGS I WISH I’D KNOWN BEFORE WE BECAME PARENTS
Becoming a parent radically changes everything. Many parents are asking: “Why didn’t someone tell me what this would be like?” Reflecting on his own experience, Dr. Chapman seeks to give practical help to new parents by sharing twelve things he wishes he had known when his children were young. If churches would share these insights with expecting couples they could greatly reduce the stress of parenting.

FW7 & SW7: LYDIA RANDALL
'USING TECHNOLOGY IN A GOD-HONORING WAY'
& 'BUSYNESS IS THE NEW FINE'
This 2-in-1 workshop sees Lydia discuss two important issues that impact our family lives. Using the Tower of Babel, Lydia Randall illustrates the connection that happens in real life that just cannot happen via screens and gives practical advice and encourages 3 tech-free zones: date night, drive time, the table.
Busyness has become our answer to “how are you?” Lydia discusses the pace at which we do God’s work and how to keep our family on a healthy faith plan.
